“Nothing you GET will ever make you happy. Nothing. It doesn’t matter how many people respect you, how much money you have, how many things you have.

– Tony Robbins

If you aren’t happy right now, there isn’t anything that you can acquire that will GIVE you happiness. Happiness comes from within. We all know that deep in our hearts.

Tony Robbins says the key to happiness is PROGRESS, and if you’re not growing, you’re dying. But there’s another vital component he doesn’t cover.

It is the one thing that sets us apart from animals. That enables the human potential for growth to be LIMITLESS.

And that is

the awareness

the consciousness

or the acknowledgement

of it.

We call it

Unusual Gratitude holds two components. The first is obviously the essence of thankfulness. The concept of actually consciously practicing the act of expressing gratitude, and feeling it within the deepest parts of your being.

The second component is why we call it ‘Unusual’. Just as progress in our work and our lives makes us happy, so does progress within the mind. Unusual Gratitude encompasses concepts to broaden your reality, make your map more objective and progressively further what you can choose to be thankful for.

The way to really hit deep into the root of how important Unusual Gratitude is to your HAPPINESS is to imagine living without it.

Say we agree with Tony (because how could you not?), and imagine a man who is making progress every day toward building a multi-billion dollar empire. His days are busy, filled with work but he’s reaching his targets and getting closer towards his dreams. But what if he were to not acknowledge it?

What if he were so focused on where he wasn’t, and how far he had to go before his empire was built, that he never did truly appreciate or give thanks to the daily progress he was making each day. 30 years have passed and he finally reaches his goal.

A multi-billion dollar empire built. His happiness of achieving his dream is exciting, unbelievable, astonishing. But the moment passes. And for the 10, 950 days that was spent making progress, this man, not ONCE stopped and acknowledged or expressed his gratitude.

Realistically a person smart enough to build such an empire would be a master of practicing gratitude. But you see the point.

Happiness does not just arrive one day.

It comes from masterfully being present in the moment and choosing to be thankful for it.

Unusual Gratitude teaches you to expand beyond your senses. Instead of being thankful for what you can see, learn to be thankful for who you are, what you want and where you can go. Gratitude is not one dimensional.

It is the practice of ALL great thought leaders and great people.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
     ~ Oprah Winfrey

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

“Gratitude opens the door to…the power, the wisdom, the creativity of the Universe. You open the door through gratitude.” ~Deepak Chopra

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” ~ Tony Robbins

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.”

~ Cicero

WC Parker – 5 Star Review

“If you’re looking for meaning in your life and have something worth living for daily, this well-written book should be at the top of your list.

The co-authors have put together an unconventional approach to achieving a deeply and fulfilling life of happiness that begins with gratefulness for all you are and have.

They each share personal journal entries to guide you on a 30-day Unusual Gratitude Challenge. As you read through the four main sections of the book, you will discover open-mindedness for what is and could be, acceptance for who we are and what we are, awareness of our emotions, and best of all, connection with the things that unite us. Take what you have learned in these chapters and, using the principles found in chapter 5, apply it to your life for peace, understanding and happiness.”

Agnes F – 5 Star Review

“First a very unusual book in the way it is written and formatted with beautiful images bringing the emotional message even deeper.

I am a big fan of appreciation “practice” and that’s exactly the book I wish I had read 10 years ago when I started my personal development journey and to realize that I could be happy NOW.

It’s a book for everyone, to always have in your purse on on your ipad/kindle etc to come back for a daily appreciation check, that will give you automatically a large smile on your face.

I highly recommend to anyone who is still looking for happiness. You’re one book away!”

Eilin Cabutto – 5 Star Review

“Wow! this is a beautiful book, so different that what you usually get here in Kindle. It looks to open your mind and take you to a peaceful and happy place in your life.

I have a very stressful job and at the same time I’m running my own business, therefore is not easy to keep my cool constantly and appreciate how fortunate I am to exist .

That’s why I’m constantly searching for new ways to improve myself, how to be more happy and more grateful. This is one of the best books ever read about gratitude. Such a powerful tool and so rarely use. I can’t wait to read what they’ll bring next.”

Daniel Lee – 5 Star Review

“Never quite understood what mindfulness was, but UG proved to be a great introduction and guide into a more centered and satisfying existence.

There are some great, actionable steps in here, but above all the mindsets are what make the difference and real shift. I would say that it’s a stretch that a book can alter or change my life, but this one has at the very least significantly changed a couple of approaches and perspective about my approach to life. And that’s invaluable.”

Cameron Chase – 5 Star Review

“When you’re ready for the lesson, the teacher appears. I totally needed to hear this message right now. I recently became very interested in the practice of gratitude when I heard Tony Robbins say that the way to conquer fear is through practicing gratitude: the two emotions cannot coexist.

One emotion drives out the other. This book provides practical and thoughtful guidance on the practice of gratitude.
The authors provide many inspiring quotes and personal reflections throughout the book. I printed some of them out and tacked them to my bathroom mirror as a reminder.

It’s weird when walking through the world with gratitude. It’s like being high or something. You notice smells and colors. People seem warmer and more open. Fear melts away. I’m excited to continue the practice and see what unfolds.”

Canas. NSIG – 5 Star Review

“The idea of Paradox and how apply to it the daily choices we make was HUGE for me. That one thing alone was worth the price of the book for me.

Before I was like Dr. Jekly and Mr. Hyde sometimes choosing what was “good” (ie smoked salmon and a salad) and sometimes choosing what was “bad” (the fudge brownie) with no rhyme no or reason to it all. But Just this seemingly simple idea of re-framing those every day choices through the power of paradox opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

It seems like hyperbole but its true that very often the deeper things we struggle with manifest themselves in the minutia of our lives. This is a little book that wears its heart on its sleeve but it’s been game changer for me. Highly recommended.”

Bernard – 5 Star Review

“This book calmed me down and gave me so much needed peace. I feel like I’m always trying to get the most out of every second to accomplish something or satisfy others.

Even when I started reading it I had a different mindset (crushing mindset just to get it over with but reading it just made me calm down and savour it. The book images also make it a pleasant work of Art. I cannot give it less than 5 stars. It really is that good! Very enlightening read that makes you feel good from the start because everything is how it is supposed to be!”

Irene – 5 Star Review

“This made me realize the beauty of living. The book is a gem that everyone needs to read. Unusual gratitude can change the way to look at life.

I love how the things that you will read on this book will lift your spirits. With all the chaos and bad news that we read and see every day. This book will definitely turn your life around. Full of inspiration and good energy that will fill your heart and soul. I will definitely share this book to friends and loved ones.

Unusual gratitude is a must read. A treasure that everyone needs to discover.”

 How was Unusual Gratitude Created?

Maxie and Kat both believe strongly in the power of the mind. Their own journeys and experiences have led to similar thought processes and mindfulness practices that they realized brought them both great inner peace and happiness. Looking around, they were hard pressed to find this sense of fulfillment in others.

And so, together they found huge passion and purpose in teaching others the Heart Conscious Entrepreneur philosophy, to help others battling their own internal demons, springing them to a higher level of consciousness and thinking.

After a 30 Day Gratitude Challenge, Katya and Maxie discussed many enlightening, paradigm shifts that occurred as people who practiced gratitude and mindfulness daily. This combined with the life-changing lessons learned from being entrepreneurs and talking to entrepreneurs, they developed the Unusual Gratitude philosophy.

Excited and eager to spread it to the world, they’ve written their thought provoking and heart-warming book: Unusual Gratitude; A Beautiful Guide to Mindfulness and Happiness so You Never Regret Another Day in Your Life.

It is truly important to both Kat and Maxie that people live this out for themselves, so they can feel how the true power of being thankful can change their lives.

Committing to the practice of expressing gratitude leads to greater happiness, optimism, stronger relationships, increased sense of self-worth, lower levels of stress, dealing better with adversity, and a pay it forward mentality.

All of which are incredible tools for a resilient mindset, needed to face the overwhelming challenges and struggles that come with chasing your dreams.

Unusual Gratitude is now available on Amazon.com stores for $14.28 Paperback Copy.
